Job description
As a part of The Engineering team, you will play a significant and visible role in helping us build our new internal system.
You will help us maintain our current system and build new features, with responsibilities that span software design, test automation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our applications and services.
You will also play a central role in migrating our system to AWS.
The position is permanent opportunity. Selected candidates must be willing to join at a short notice.
Responsibilities:
- Provides recommendations and solutions in support of business requirements;
- Participates in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development;
- Working within your hardened Agile team to deliver on product increments and goals;
- Writing clean code with a focus on quality, testability, and continuous delivery;
- Researching new technologies and incorporating them into our solutions;
- Writing, testing, integrating, debugging, and troubleshooting software applications.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Kanban, Scrum;
- Experience with various SQL and NoSQL data stores;
- Experience in AWS

Job requirements
Overall 7+ Yrs. experience with Web application development and programming;
Should have experience in development, deployments and Production Support;
Must have hands on experience in PHP 5.x/7.x, MySQL, JavaScript;
Experience in Laravel framework;
Experience with Debian and Ubuntu distributions;
Experience in Apache, NGINX, Redis;
Experience with SVN and Git;
Experience with Web Services;
Knowledge in possessing advanced SQL skillset - query optimization/tuning;
Experience with a public cloud provider, ideally Amazon Web Services
